Practice & Business Management Consultancy - Locum/Interim Practice Management - Recruitment


I provide Specialist Management and Business Consultancy to a wide range of organisations working within Primary Care.  My clients include:

  • GP Practices - GP Federations - NHS England - Local Medical Committees (LMCs) - Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) - The Royal College of General Practitioners - NHS Foundation Trusts - Boarding Schools with Medical Centres

Both "one-off" and longer-term projects can be undertaken and would typically include reviews, support and implementation guidance in relation to the following:

  • Finance - Service Delivery and Performance - Human Resources - Premises - Care Quality Commission Compliance - Troubleshooting - Partnership Matters - Restructures

Locations covered:

I can provide Locum/Interim Practice Management services for GP Practices on either a short or

mid-term basis depending upon your needs.

I have successfully worked with numerous GP Practices to recruit their new Practice Manager, Business Manager, Assistant Practice Manager and/or other essential non-clinical support staff.

  • Identify the skills, expertise and experience gaps within the organisation
  • Understand the Practice Partners/Owners' expectations for their new key member of staff
  • Recommend a realistic level of remuneration package for the position in order to attract high-quality candidates looking to make a long-term commitment to the organisation (giving due consideration to the Practice's location, patient list size and complexity of the role)
  • Seek to match all of the above when pitching the job to potential suitable candidates
  • With an open-mind, help the Practice Partners/Owners to select the right candidate to both complement and enhance the organisation and enable it grow whilst delivering quality patient services.
